Representation Agreement (RA) Party Kits

Plan a meet up or ‘party’ to make your Representation Agreement

For Personal Planning Month (October) 2026, we are launching Representation Agreement (RA) Party Kits designed to help you plan a get together (a ‘party’) to complete your very own RA!

Before you get started with the RA kits, consider reading more of our other resources on RAs: more info on the different types, capability requirements, and the roles and responsibilities of the people you appoint.

To pick which RA Party Kit(s) you need, click through our “Which RA Kit is Right For Me?” Decision Tree below.

If you are not able to see the Decision Tree in the green box below, or if you are having any other issues with it, click HERE to download a local copy.

Many feel relief and accomplishment after putting a legal plan in place for help with decision-making when needed. We hope these kits will facilitate this process for you and your trusted supporters, in an achievable way.

Each RA Party Kit assumes:

  • you have not made a Representation Agreement before;
  • there is no court order appointing someone as committee of your estate or committee of your person;
  • you do not have a statutory property guardian.

Each RA Party Kit includes (among other resources):

  • RA Form;
  • Tips on filling it out and steps for signing it;
  • Example Filled Out form to follow along;
  • Suggestions for making RA with physical limitations;
  • Invitations to the people who need to be involved; and
  • Glossary of Personal Planning Terms.

If you have any issues accessing the RA Party Kits or still have questions about which Kit is right for you, feel free to contact us at info@nidus.ca.

Need to print?

Don’t have access to a printer? Download the appropriate RA kit(s) and send to a print shop (for example, Staples has an online print shop with delivery and local pick-up options), or your local library may have more economical printing services available: find your public library here and call ahead to ask about printing costs – most library systems in BC run 15-25 cents per page for black & white printing, and range from 25-75 cents per page for colour printing.
